Problem with rear door

I have a 2008 Honda Civic sedan. I'm having a problem with the driver side rear door. It won't open from the inside. The door locks and unlocks w/ key fob, can be opened from outside but won't open from inside.

You can't UNLOCK it from the inside, or you can't OPEN IT AT ALL from the inside?
If #1, sounds like there's a problem with the switch.
If #2, the handle might be disconnected.

It won't open at all from inside. Is it possible the latch is broken? My son is a little rough on stuff n always exits the vehicle on that side.

Ezone are the MAN or WOMAN which ever applies!!! That was it. Child safety lock was engaged. Didn't even know where it was located.
