Rep Power: 0 2007 civic coupe- leaking oil on incline
Block cracked and new short block put in by dealer under recall. Now leaking oil in driveway and found out tech bent timing cover gasket when installing- put new gasket in-bring home and still oil leak- dealer puts on lift all day- I go and look and no leak- bring home and car parked in driveway on a nice incline and have leak again- can't tell where it is coming from- anybody with same problem or know what it is? Never had a leak in 8 years until new short block put in.

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Is it losing any fluids?
If you have a leak, park over some cardboard (or white paper) so you can tell what fluid color is, and note carefully the positions so you can tell what area it should be coming from.
Go back and have them raise the car so you can see it too--before they have any chance to clean the mess off.
The only thing I can think of that makes a mess when doing these is power steering fluid might go all over the place when the subframe comes out.
