Rep Power: 0 original wipers Mitsuba?
Are the original wipers on my 2006 Civic 4dr stamped Mitsuba? I came home from the dealer with new refills yesterday and they don't want to go in. The cross section is a little different than the old ones, and the driver's refill is an inch too short. And they cost $10 each, which was more than I was expecting. (My dealer's parts prices are usually 50% more than the MSRPs shown online.)

Yes sealed honda parts 76632-SVA-A01 and 76622- $10.37 each. I think these are generic length I'm supposed to cut to fit. Anyway I can't get these in. The old ones slide back in fine but these won't go; seems like they are too thick. So I'm just wondering maybe I don't have "original" Honda wipers. When I bought the car a year ago from the Honda dealer the wipers were new but I don't know if that meant new blades or just new rubbers. Maybe these Mitsuba blades are a replacement not original Honda?
Bernardi Honda where I get parts online shows them (same part numbers) for $6.16 & $5.53 MRSP. Had the same thing with a temp sensor: Online it was $40 list, sold for $28, dealer charged me $70.

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one
Re: original wipers Mitsuba?
Coupe wipers are very different from Sedan wipers, EDIT: I can't read! AGAIN! LOL.
All wiper inserts are exact length from Honda, no cutting to fit.
Yes, Mitsuba is an OE supplier.
76632-SVA-A01 is a 625mm insert
76622 is a good number in my catalog, 700mm insert
These SVA part numbers are for a coupe.
Use an online catalog to pick out your exact car and look up your own part numbers, it's easy as pie.
http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/
Pick out your car, then find the heading: "front windshield wiper"
You can also find the real MSRP there.
Maybe your dealer will at least come down to a real price and match it once they figure out you can use the internet. Some dealers won't budge at all.
My catalog shows for 06 sedan wiper inserts:
76632-SNA-A01, 575mm
76622-SNA-A01, 650mm

Yeah the parts guy asked 2 or 4 door, I said 4 but I guess he gave me the wrong ones. Maybe I'll just order online even with postage it's still less than the $10 dealer price.
Edit: I went back to the dealer and they exchanged the refills for the proper ones. Obviously the sedan refills are different in both length and thickness; these installed zip zip.
