Rep Power: 0 To those who use seafoam I have a question
I spent a couple hours today trying to access that darn booster line on my 07 EX stock intake completely blocks it (and isn't very practical to remove), and wasn't able to at all.
So my question to you is how do you do it? (bonus points for a pic/vid)

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one
Re: To those who use seafoam I have a question
I cringe.
Don't do it.
Just pour it in the gas tank if you REALLY feel like you must do something.
IMO
Burn Top Tier gas from now on instead.

are you trying to make your civic perform better?
I use BG 44k in the tank once a year cleans the entire fuel system up
to like new..! amazing stuff a little pricey but worth the added cost

In fact, one Top Tier station here is usually the first station to begin the weekly price wars.

Re: To those who use seafoam I have a question
i use shell 87 gas its a top tier fuel, still is not enough to keep fuel system clean you need to run a strong concentrated cleaner fi at least once a year
to keep injectors spray pattern spraying a mist like its intended from OEM or fuel eco performance goes downhill

Wow, a manufacturer is telling you their product works? They gotta be telling the truth.
Got a link to a site from an un-biased source?

^ I would like to see one too!
As for Seafoam, I'm just not comfortable with a product that is ok to put in your gas tank and then pour it into your oil.

BG is legit and has good products. They are very good IF you know how and when to use them and know what to expect from them.
But this thread is about Seafoam.....
and the OP has disappeared.

Re: To those who use seafoam I have a question
I used seafoam once on an old car I had did very little until I
used the BG 44k in the tank and ran some MOA in the oil what
a difference it made on how well it drove after that if you look at
what I posted on the BG products page BG ran a test on a ford Taurus
they cleaned up the induction system with there product and ran 44k in
the tank and added a can of MOA to the oil they gained just over 8 H.P ..!
from just cleaning up carbon internally and the fuel system. I don't work
for BG prod or have any affiliation with them just passing this product that
I no and use along it realy does work at cleaning up carbon forget the
(STP,Wyyns, gumout, the Seafoam) - they don't work. use the BG stuff it works Youtube it its the best and safest stuff for your investment.

Yeah, I was very sleepy when i posted that, re-reading it now it came out much more ***-hole-ish than I intended.
I am truly curious about fuel system cleaners, but I won't believe a manufacturers website for a second without some un-biased information from another site.
I'll have to check it out though.

Haha I love that trash can pic. I think I'll save it for later...!
I have always thought Shell was better quality than most. I have been told that the premium version has more detergents in it that the regular. Fill up with premium on occasion if you are worried about your fuel system.
