Replacing ECM

After a week of messing with car I still go into limp mode. ECM relay clicks and battery light is on until limp mode when bat light goes out. Charging system is working as I replaced alternator and mechanics I work with (great guys at Zerolift in Cincinnati area by the way) say all is well and they are certain ecm needs replaced. Car continues to run with battery disconnected.

Where should I get one and what should I expect to pay? Do I get a stock replacement or is this a good opportunity for some upgrade? This is my DD so any quick responses are appreciated.

Feel free to send me private messages if you are a vendor.

BTW There's an old thread about Hondata D17 ECM saying it won't happen but I saw what seems to be a Hondata ecm on Dezod's website. What am I missing? I'm brand new to any tuning so please excuse any stupidities.

Thanks.
