i drive a 2008 honda civic sedan LX automatic. i notice that my cars stalls to accelerate. i'm sure this is a common prob for this car since it's 4cl and this is probably a dumb question. it stalls usually when i drive it on D. yesterday i drove it on D3 and i notice that it allowed me to maneuver and accelerate quicker. i was wondering if this would exhaust my engine since i drive 60-75 on da highway. should i down shift going faster or switch to 2nd? i've never driven an manual car before.
