Hi, I have a 2006 Honda Civic four door LX...just wondering: how easy is it to change the ATF fluid on the transmission? Need any special tools? And where exactly is the drain plug located.

Also: same question as far as the fuel filter. Where is it, and can I just take it off and pop the new one on?

get under the car and on the bottom for the tranny your going to see a bolt that you gota use a 3/8" ratchet to loosen it it no special tool required its located on the the lower side of the tranny close to the sub frame to refill its thru the dip stick it should take 3 qts of honda atf as far as fuel filter it does not have one it use a fuel strainer there is no need to replace it its located inside the fuel tank on the fuel pump hope this info helps out
