Subscribed… might be time for a change. Extremely tempting!
Please explain suspension work (just to fit the k20, assuming?)? What or any trouble you have had with the engine since the swap?

Suspension has nothing to do with the motor except for of course the front sway bar since i'm using the K20 subframe and header. As for the springs, shocks, strut bars, rear sway (which is same as the rsx), and lower rear tie bar are all made for the EM2's. The motor has no problems at all, it runs great. I've had it since it had 6K miles on it. so it was pretty much new.

save for the s2k. its worth it. Check craigslist and s2k forums. I've seen s2k's go as low as 17k-18k for clean title and 14k for salvage. If you keep searching you'll find the price your looking for.
The si isn't going to seem that much faster then your current setup. Keep in mind your civic is already 200lbs lighter then the current si and the current si is 35lbs heavier then the Type S.
The SI will handle a little bit better then your vic and will probably be more comfortable to drive especially if you get the navi option.
I just found one on craigslist for $16500 just from 2min of searching.

Then again i'm in so cal so there a lot more hondas down here.
