replace my stock cd player with JVC KD-R800, and got stucked
I am at the point of connecting the harness (wires).
Do I just connect the wires with similar color?
But they got different number of wires.
And the installation manual said that the black one should connect to the ground/chasis, but the stock cd's black wire does not connects to the ground/chasis. I am quite confused.

first, you need a new connector that plugs to the oem one and has wires coming off it. then you splice those wires to the jvc radio harness. and even then the colors wont match up. you have to look at the jvc wire diagram to see what the colors mean, then check the connector wire diagram.
