90 LX Brakes on the Cheap
Title says it all. I've got a 90 LX, bone stock. I need to do new pads and rotors, but want to do it properly without breaking my bank.
I intend to do a brake swap in the front in the next few months, but the car is going to autocross before any of that happens. I need some decent pads and rotors that will make it happily through a couple track days and back onto the street.
My local parts store stocks Akebonos (which I have had a positive experience with before), and cheapo rotors (25 a pop).
Should I rock the Akebonos and cheap rotors, or can anybody point me to a better alternative on the net? Willing to delay job if the right parts will have to be ordered.
Thanks for any input you have.
