Hey im new to civics!!!

Hi my name is Dave i recently just picked up a 98 civic with less then a hundred thousand km for basically nothing I love Honda's, i own a 600rr and i also have a 98 tercel which is amazing too!!! on gas lol Anyways the car needs some work, the manifold seems loose or needs to be replaced and the drivers power window can go down but wont go back up Anyways im going fix all that this week but my main concern is rims. Whats a reasonable good tire size for not so good roads. I was thinking 17's. What size, offset and all that do i need for a 2 door 98. Also it says Si on the back but i really dont think it is? whats the deal with that???
