20" Rims on an 02 Civic EX Sedan

Anyone have experience with 20" rims (8J width) and Nankang 225/30ZR20 , Reinforced 85W tires? Can I lower it? Does this suck? Seems like the wheels are flush with the lip of the wheel well body. Thanks.

Well, because I live in Atlanta... But seriously, these rims were love at first sight and I found specs to confirm they would fit. A nice sharp car vs a racer is what I'm shooting for. Besides, it's only an Automatic. After a 4-wheel run-in with a curb going about 60, I saw the opportunity to upgrade. I just didn't think they'd be so flush to the body and could limit lower-ability. Air shocks seem to be the right thing to do, but I haven't got experience with mods on these Civics... (I did convert to air shocks on a '77 AMC Pacer wagon I had when I was younger... does that say enuf?).
