I have a 2005 Civic EX with the stock 195/60 with the 15" wheels. Can I put 14" wheels on this car? I'm thinking of a 14" snow tire/wheel package....the dealer says I cannot because it might mess up the ABS sensors.....any thoughts on this?

Nope u cannot, it's not even remotely recommended. U can jamm it in there and run the car on it, but trust me it will cost u heavily!

I hope he is just joking. 14" wheels with fit just fine. Just make sure you get the proper tire size for the wheel so that you dont throw your speedometer off by much.

I too will be doing this, I assume the tire size I will be looking for will be a larger size? To compensate for the smaller rim?

A ratio that would keep the overall diameter of the wheel to the stock dimensions.

just look up the oem tire size for the 14s and use that size. tirerack.com should be able to tell you.
