well i didnt know where to put this but since i just got the wheels put on, it must be that. So yeah i noticed today, that when i go 60mph my steering wheel shakes quite severely. I got the wheels put on 3 days ago 17"s. What could be the problem? alignment? camber? or what?

I'm going to say either 1. wheels are out of balance or 2. you need an alignment

wheels were not properly balanced is usually the case.. couldnt be an alignment issue.. alignments pulls usually or wobbles.. but shaking severly is like 99% balancing.

That's a balance problem. Of course, we're assuming the tires are in good shape. How many miles are on the tires?

its balance, when u get them rebalanced, make sure the place has a hunter road force balancer, it might cost more, but is much more effective for balancing wheels, my new shop has one, and i love it, its free for me, but boy does it +work, i used to have to put 2+ ounces on each side of each of my wheels using a conventional spin balancer, now it takes just half an ounce a side, no shakes, wobbles, or even pulls, it works very well, balancing makes a huge difference in ride quality, if u car didnt shake before u got the wheels then its balance, or possibly tire wear, but even that shouldnt create a shake unless the tire wear is very severe

Like everyone said most likely the balance, but if the wheels are used like in my case a bent wheel can cause the same problem as an off balanced wheel. Or a bad tire. Not saying it is all these things, but all will have the same effect. Just something to keep in mind b4 you decide to change anything.
