Hey everyone I recently decided it was time I corrected all the imperfections in the body of my car so I began the body work.
I thought some of you would be interested in seeing the progress from start to finish . Here are a couple of pictures of the start, hope you enjoy.
The masking line on the hood is a sample line of where the hood will be black in the middle along with the roof and blue on the outsides of the hood.

Some progress with the car...
Using a beer with sandpaper for the round spot
Wipers and plastic pulled
Emblems and trim pulled
Pulling the other door tomorrow.

Using a dynatron brand "dynalite"...light weight body filler.
Its going on smooth enough I don't even need 80 grit to bring it down, starting right at 180 minimum pin holes...
As to the appreciation thing, I would sure imagine so...I'm working harder on my car then I do at work!
If anyone was wondering why I'm taking the doors off, it's because I'm changing the colour of the car. Instead of masking it and trying to get in the jambs, I'm taking the time to do it proper...also saves from the clear over spray onto the jambs when the door is on the car and closed.

Haven't been posting and took a break on the car the past weekend...family member past away...any who started back at her now. It's now primed and needs to be blocked out and a final sand, will get some pictures up later tonight.

No no, still have to pull them off...other door has to come off also. Just need to block out the body work and go over all my edges and make sure everything is perfect!

Well ladies and gents...a lot of time and effort later...it's DONE!
Finally got the car finished this this weekend and have a couple final result pictures here. A friend of mine is going to be taking professional pictures tonight of the car so hopefully I'll get them up by the weekend. Let me know what you think of the overall finish, thanks!

The grill is going to be changed out with a gloss mesh black, I have a set of gloss black m3 mirrors with smoked blue leds I will probably be putting in and handles will stay black.

Man the paint job looks great really love the color. But quick question why do you have the top and bottom of the windshield tinted? Why not do the whole thing?

I thought it was illegal in Canada to tint the windshield... hmmm. The paint job looks fantastic however I'm not the biggest fan of the two tone, but that's just my opinion and you will get that.
The car looks great and awesome job on it.

Ya it's illegal here in tx but since I was 20 I've tinted my full windshield with 30% on all my cars and I havnt had any problem. I'd probably get in more trouble doing a setup like you have.
