Hey ya'll, just dropping by to say hi. Its been a minute, but my civic is still truckin. Even with life's ups and downs, the civic never leaves me hanging.
Luckily I got my hands on something special. I first posted to Civicforums in late 2010, getting hyped about my "Secret Weapon R" ram air intake. I felt like the coolest kid in that high school parking lot. Well, after a rough breakup, getting comfortable at a job I love, making money that's enough for now, its time the ole girl gets the attention she deserves.
The civic now has 173xxx miles, and has seen its fair share of repairs. Ill keep it simple for now. Its currently sitting on Tein Flex Z's, Kpro V4 W/ AEM Cam Gear, and the turbo is next to come. Honestly shooting for something silly while keeping the D17. Just have a feeling we missed something about this motor. This time around, I have access to a shop, dyno, tuner, and a whole lot more than just my own toolbox. Picture below is my silver bullet for this build.
She lived a good long life. 15 years, 205k miles. The way I look at it, you still have 32k until you catch up
See what I got now though?

Heard that man. 2 rough breakups for me, and a month ago I just started a new, non-retail job for the first time since I got out of the military. Funny enough, one of my ex's is my boss' wife. Luckily, she's one of the ex's that's still super important in my life, and her husband quickly became one of my best friends, long before I got this job. The reason I got this job is because he just so happened to be hiring when my retail-management job started becoming even more bullshit.
In any case, how you been man, it's been quite a minute. That intake mani you posted up is sexy af.

Been good man! Happy to hear you're surviving too! You're right, I do still have a bit to go! Super nice daily btw, I couldn't bring myself to buy something new while I still had some student loans to pay off.
As for the intake manifold? It was made for me over the summer by one of the Gentlemen from a former forum affiliate. Figure it was my hail mary to build this car.
