looking to buy 2004 civic SE
hello everyone! my first time here
I wanna buy this Honda civic 2004 SE very nice car and low mileage but when i took a look under the hood i noticed i could see the tires from this position.
now i don't know if this is a serious problem or if they are built this way. I have never seen this all the cars I seen, the engine is fully unclosed to prevent rain or snow from entering.
Now I'm wondering are all these models that way or is it a problem and i shouldn't buy it?
all your input is greatly appreciated!

prolly just missing the fender liners, plastic covers that go above the tires. they get beat up all the time and i usually end up replacing em every year or two.

Meaning that it may not have been taken care of very well. Look for non-factory welds where the core support is welded in. Or, for that matter, any other sign of front end damage. $35 at carfax.com may not be a bad idea either.

You can see tire from which location? when I bought my 04, I felt they should have closed all those holes. I mean it looks so hollow. I am not sure if the 01-03 have them or not.
Basically, you can see thru from the left to the right. : )
