my 92 hatch with a del sol d16z6 broke down going into second on my way home from work at 10:40pm...worst time possible,

been doing some research and it said main relay or fuel pump needs replaced...

the guy i bought the car from never replaced the fuel pump but it does has a d16z6 in it, so i was wondering do i just replace it with a stock fuel pump or do i need one to support the d16? seen some on ebay for $29 but it says 93-97 del sol...not 1992. ?

any ideas guys?

im gonna start by replacing the main relay....but do i get one for 1992 civic 1.5l? or the 1.6l thats in there, i dont want to be running lowers fuel made for a 1.5l that came in the car opposed to having a 1.6l in there now

The parts have to fit this car, not the engine swap.

First you should figure out if it has lost compression, spark,or fuel....then figure out why

so check the spark plugs and dizzy first should i worry about the alternator? it is cranking but no turnover, then il just replace the main relay see if thats the issue to rule that out
