D16z6 going to boost it leaving motor stock I have another one ready for me to build gonna see how much this one can hold
I heard the aem FUEL ignition Controller lets you keep the stock ecu which may be more complicated but I have no idea that's why I'm asking, which way do I want to go?

I don't see why not. The AEM F/IC is a piggyback unit, and cannot run as a standalone (that is, the F/IC unit must be wired into an ECU). Just as long as whatever map/settings you have loaded into the F/IC are for your current engine management needs, you should be fine.
source: bought an AEM F/IC back when they first released it when I was boosted in order to replace the current engine management unit I was running, but ended up removing the turbo before ever having the chance to install it due to time constraints and engine problems.
