Best Motor To Drop Into an EG Hatch To Turn A Profit?
Hey guy's I'm new to the forum and I had a quick question I was hoping you guys could help me with. I'm buying a 94 EG Hatch as a flip for a real good price. It's a clean car no rust I'm picking it up for $400 but the trick is that it has no motor/trans. So since literally all the car needs is a trans/motor I was wondering what motor you guys think I should drop that won't be to hard on the wallet but will attach buyers. Sort of a middle ground I'm looking at the most cost effective options the goal here is to solely turn a profit nothing else.

If you find the right buyer someone would pay good money for a clean body if they were going to build a car.
The engine it came with stock would be the most cost effective I think.

I could still make a profit just by selling it as a shell but I know I could further increase my profit margins by selling the vehicle with a motor and getting it to pass safety and E-Test.
