Rep Power: 0 P/S Pump Advice PLS Help!
So I just registered and am a new user on a mission to ask someone for some desperate advice. My 98 Civic hatch came with a JDM B16A swapped into the car. I am in search of a replacement P/S pump at the moment and cant find a replacement pump new or used for a B16A ODB1. I've done some research and some say that the USDM B16A2 parts are similar but sometimes not compatible. Im looking into a new P/S pump through a parts search for a 1995 Honda Civic Del Sol Vtec (which will either be a B16A2 or B16A3 I believe) so will this P/S pump work on the stock brackets??
Thanks for your time and advice...

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Unless someone has actually done the exact same swap you have there AND made the PS work, you might be on your own.
Find a pump that bolts up and lines up the pulleys pretty dang close,
and make sure the pressure hose will actually fit in the hole and bolt down. Hose is probably gonna be simple once you find a pump that will fit right.
It looks an awful lot like an early CRV engine or a Prelude engine.....Possible pump choice?
