Re: how can i get my civic to burn out good

Rev it anywhere over 3000 rpm and hold it there. Then just slide your foot off the side of the clutch pedal letting the clutch pedal slam up. This is referred to as "dropping the clutch". Once you break the tire loose it should keep spinning as long as you stay at high rpms. The less tread on a tire the easier it will spin. If your tires are too new then go get some $10-15 beater tires at the junkyard. Word of warning: 3 or 4 times of that and you'll need a new clutch.

Re: how can i get my civic to burn out good

I can't believe I am participating in this stupid post...

If you want a lot of smoke, spray your tires down with bleach, then do your burn out......
or just use your E-brake...

E-brake alone won't do it unless you drop the clutch.

lol @ red boxes

Butt the nose of the car up to a solid wall so it can't roll. A streetlight pole could work too.
Set the handbrake.
Put shifter in first gear.
Rev the engine up to redline.
Slide your foot off of the clutch pedal so it pops up.

Give it hell. Like this guy does here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=unwujSVpZwA
Don't stop until something breaks!
Get it on video, and post it.

Buy car parts as necessary, do it again!
