Rep Power: 0 Where is the Diagnostic/Service Check Connector on a Honda Civic 93 - with pics
I have an Australian right hand drive Honda Civic 1993 Sedan GL 1.5 with computer controlled carby that is blowing black smoke and running bad. Has had a major service recently. I have been advised to check for error codes produced by the comp in order to figure out whether it could be the O2 sensor causing the issues.
I have got the service manual and tutorials online but I can not figure out which cable is the Diagnostic Check Connector for checking for error/fault codes.
The pictures and diagrams I have do not match what I am seeing.
Anyone know what cable to look for, etc.
Here are the pics to help:
Passenger side, underneath. Theres these connectors attached to the metal frame. I am thinking maybe it could be the brown plug?
Here is a close up of the connectors
Uploaded with ImageShack.us
This connector is located underneath the glove box but more to the center of the car
There is a bunch of cables on the underneath of the driver side where the fuses are. Any of them the Diagnostic connector?
Thank you
