Clutch issues - 95 Civic DX Hatchback

Hello,

I've a question today about the clutch in my 95 Civic DX 2 dr hatchback.

Lately, you have to push it in really far for it to engage. It's like it doesn't have any spring to it anymore.

Perhaps this is an obvious, silly question, but does anyone have any ideas.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Re: Clutch issues - 95 Civic DX Hatchback

Just to clarify, when you push in the pedal, you are disengaging the clutch. Have you bled the fluid by any chance? What exactly does the pedal feel like? Is it spongy? I'm assuming it just doesn't fall to the floor. When you are shifting, you should have the clutch completely floored before you go into the next gear.
