Any one know what is causing it?

The car vibrates very badly when ill first start it up, then once its warmed up it doesnt do it as bad. The while im driving it seems to smooth out,

And there is also another Problem, When i am Shifting it it makes a strange Revving noise, But them it almost sounds like a grinding..

sounds like ur throw out bearing,when they get wore out they will cause the car to vibrate at idle,and will also make the clutch grind....good luck man

I was doing some research for the same problem I have on my 91 civic. The most logical thing I think it is are the motor mounts. They are old and have probably worn out. On hot summer days when I park the car whilst I work, I come back to the lot and the car does not want to shift out of first or second gear (auto transmission). After 20 minutes of driving around it eventually works. Told this could be a transmission solenoid.
