Changed engine now have a strange problem
I just changed the engine in a 1994 civic with a vtech d16z6 engine. The new engine had 55000 miles so we changed the water pump, timing belt, tentioner, and clutch before installing it. The motor is in and runs great till the abs pump turns on. When the abs pump turns on the engine dies. We didn't work on the brake system and the brakes were working properly before the engine swap. I don't know why the abs pump or any part of the braking system would make the car die. Any suggestions as to what may be going on?
