how do the plugs look? air filter/intake restriction?
does it do it at idle? while driving? coming to a stop?

If it's a 1.6L (6th gen) it may be the coil or igniter within the distributor. Do a coil arc/spark test per Ezone method when the engine is at operating temp. Also try a cylinder (rpm) drop test a.k.a power balance test on each cylinder.

What running conditions does it happen in?
Can you demonstrate what it does wrong in a video?
Got codes?
Got valve adjust?
Compression test?
Got correct NGK plugs with correct gap?
EGR open at the wrong time?
Cap/rotor/wires?
