Rep Power: 0 Help with a trunk leak
Just recently bought a 98 civic ex coupe and noticed that there's a small leak in the truck, I've sprayed the back of the car with a hose while my girlfriend watches from inside and it's coming from the driver side thru a small circle cutout and it took a couple minutes for it to start actually leaking. anyone else had this or know what it could be

Re: Help with a trunk leak
As Colin mentioned you could try seem sealer in the rain channel. It may also require removing the rear glass if there's rust that you cant see underneath the glass. My previous '98 EX leaked in that same spot..seam sealer helped reduced leakage but it was going to require the glass the to b removed and rust to be repaired to stop it completely. The car was totalled in a ccident before I ever got around to fixing it. I went ghetto style and used a mop bucket plus bungee cords to hold the bucket in place to catch the leak..lol. All that water is collecting in the trunk's spare wheel well. I took out the carpet and shitty factory press-board and replaced it with 1/2" plywood and painted the board with several coats of latex paint.
