Starter from a D16Y7 engine on a D16Y8?
Can a starter from a D16Y7 engine be used on a D16Y8 engine? The D16Y8 is from a 1997 Honda Civic EX automatic.

As long as it's the same transmission type yes.
Manual to manual. Auto to auto.
