Re: Anyone by chance know?

CEL on?

So the starter doesn’t even try to turn the engine over? Might be the starter?

Clutch switch would keep it from starting.

Look for rubber pieces on the driver side floor mat. The clutch switch is contacted by a rubber bump-stop that's inserted into the top part of clutch pedal mechanisim. This rubber piece can fall out intact or degrade and come apart. Here's a related read: https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-...witch-3223061/

no CEL. Switched starter out with one that worked from my ej ,but had sitting for about a year . Not sure I'd it wold go bad. But no luck.. checked clutch switch it seems to be okay .. car stopping from trying to push start it may be a seized engine or no?

Re: Anyone by chance know?

I had a seized alternator that made my engine die and not turn back on once. Wouldn't hurt to make sure all accessory pulleys spin freely

Don't use 1st gear for push start. Use 2nd or 3rd.

Open hood. Put trans in 5th and push car from the front while watching the pulleys and belts. Does engine spin (belts and pulleys rotate) as you move the car? (OR rotate crank using tools)
Any accessory that is locked up can stop the engine from turning too.
