Replacement Throttle Body - Does Brand Matter?

Hey guys,

I'm looking to upgrade the throttle body of my 2000 Si (EM1) to one with a larger diameter. Does brand matter at all? I'm thinking of getting this one:

Thanks!

I don't know where they get 12-14 HP gain from? Maybe they are referring to a turbo application.

Re: Replacement Throttle Body - Does Brand Matter?

Never mind the description. Does brand matter? Cuz an equivalent Skunk2 t/b costs upwards of $200, so I'd like to know if there's any appreciable difference between that and cheaper alternatives.

I don't know. Usually with cheaper stuff the fit is poor along with the quality of materials.
