Alright, so this payday, I am planning to head to a few junk yards and find myself the parts for a mini-me swap on my y7 engine.

From my research, I gather I need these parts:

-'96-'00 EX Vtec Head Cylinder (from a manual car) ((((yes))))
-'96-'00 EX Timing Belt (brand new) (((yes also water pump)))
-'96-'00 Head Gasket (brand new) (((yes)))
-'96-'00 Intake Manifold, and (((NEW))) Gasket (((yes)))
-'96-'00 Exhaust Manifold, and Gaskets (((no the y7 and y8 share the same manifold unless you want a race one or 4-2-1 manifold)))
-'96-'00 Valve Cover Gasket (((the new head should have this)))
-ECU (EX, or a P28?) (((has to be from the ex)))
-'96-'00 EX Throttle Body and Intake Plenum ((( should already be on the intake it not then yes. I don't think you know what intake plenum is)))
-'96-'00 EX Throttle Plate ((( no should already be on the Throttle body)))

I will also be purchasing these parts to install since I already have the head apart:

-Brian Crower Stage 1 Camshaft ((( why?))) if just staying stock the. It's not needed.
-OEM Water Pump (((always replace when doing timing belt)))

I will also pick up a Chiltons manual to help with anything I run into.

Am I missing any parts to pick up?

As far as the ECU goes, should I buy a P28 (and get an OBD2 to OBD1 adapter harness?), or will I be able to take the ECU that is on the EX I remove the other parts from? ((( take the one from the ex, with the p28 you need to get it tuned)))

Please give me some advise, any help will be much appreciated.
