Question Should I go for it?????(Civic Si EM1)

So I'm 16 and I have been saving up for a new car. My parents are helping me out too.

The first car I went to go see was a 2000 Civic Si.
131,5xx miles
Electron Blue paint
Engine turned on and sounded amazing
All stock
Interior looked to be ok but didn't see much as it had a lot of junk inside.

Defects:
Various knicks and scratches around the car. Will need a buffing.

Driver side motor for window is out.

Needs new "doughnut" rings up front near the engine?(I have no idea what these are)

Stock rims look old and dirty, need replacing if the gunk doesn't come off.

I understand that with older cars come small problems. How small are these?

How much would each of these things cost to fix? Tell me how much you'd pay for this car.
Thank you.

171 views and no replies? Well I went for it and am now an EM1 Electron Blue owner. Got it cheap $5200.

How much would fog light installation

cost? Some yellow ones would look clean.

as for the motor mount look on cl you can find them fairly cheap like 50 bucks... the paint well how much it cost to polish it lol.. and the rims... wash them and as for the gunk on them get some stuff called goo gone.. it works amazing... use it all the time..... well clean it right up use a scrub pad that you wash dishes with so it dont hurt the rims...and the window motor cheap on cl or at your local pick in pull im sure a 96-00 civic motor well work... take it off and compare the 2

Bought it! It was too low and couldn't enter my driveway without scraping lol so I went the the pick and pull and bought some springs. Before that I gave it a good wash and scrubbed the rims one by one, took them off and got most of the gunk off. I then went to the local glass place and got a new motor installed for a couple hundred. All I got to do is get a new doughnut Gasget installed. Love my car...

As an owner of that particular car, I would say you made a great move picking up that car, I have one right now and have been trying to find a second one. I had a 2004, and 2007. Then I made the best decision and bought my 99 and sold my 2007. 99-00, very sought after, nice purchase.

The fact that it was lowered kind of worries me, You should learn how to correctly detail your own car since 70% of detail shops (at least around here) are just 16 year olds that don't know what they're doing.
