Rep Power: 0 Bluetooth Car Deck - Advice Needed
Hi all,
I am looking for an aftermarket deck that will allow me to use bluetooth so I can use my iPhone 4 in my car as a handsfree device. I've read for the most part that Pioneer and Kenwood are good aftermarket decks, but I haven't really found anything on the forums that talk about bluetooth quality and the quality of phone calls through the system. Has anyone had any experience?
I'm going to be installing this system in a Honda Civic 98. And I am currently considering this Pioneer HU:

Any thoughts would be helpful.
Also, does anyone know if Best Buy in Canada will price match Sonic Electronix?
Thanks for helping a gal out!

Re: Bluetooth Car Deck - Advice Needed
Bestbuy will almost always be overpriced.
Anyways, Pioneer/Kenwood/Alpine will almost always be good quality.
However, I'd go out on a limb and suggest the Sony DTX S300 (As that's what I plan to upgrade to)
Great deck, with ability to store your iphone/ipod inside the deck (and charge it without cables dangling everywhere)
Bluetooth
4 line display
awesome 7 band EQ
Anyways, thats what I'd get, but depending on your budget and needs, you may want a diff receiver
I haven't heard the BT quality of these decks, since I dont have one, but they play through your speakers, so if you had good speakers and deck, then it shud sound clear
