Re: glazed headlight housings/buffing kits

usually its the outside, and most kits work well. i recommend the mothers headlight kit with drill attachment and polish for around $25. you can do the tails too.

TreeFortRichard can only hope to improve
Re: glazed headlight housings/buffing kits

I also used the Mothers kit...Seemed to greatly improve the clarity of the headlights. I had sort of a strip across the left one that could be further improved, but the change was amazing. I couldn't see with the low beams and after cleaning the lights went from 50% to about 95%

The power ball thing works great...it is directional..and tape off ALL around the hood it makes a mess.

They are mostly on the outside but moisture can get inside of them and collect up over awhile, but yea the mothers kit does work pretty well

Re: glazed headlight housings/buffing kits

mothers anything is fantastic. check craigslist or ebay though because you can get a set of brand new headlights for fairly cheap (~$30).. I went that route since my old ones were BEYOND saving
