glazed headlight housings/buffing kits

Has anyone used any of the deglazing and or buffing kits on glazed HD housings?Also, are the insides glazed over or is it just the outside.thanks

usually its the outside, and most kits work well. i recommend the mothers headlight kit with drill attachment and polish for around $25. you can do the tails too.

I also used the Mothers kit...Seemed to greatly improve the clarity of the headlights. I had sort of a strip across the left one that could be further improved, but the change was amazing. I couldn't see with the low beams and after cleaning the lights went from 50% to about 95%

The power ball thing works great...it is directional..and tape off ALL around the hood it makes a mess.

They are mostly on the outside but moisture can get inside of them and collect up over awhile, but yea the mothers kit does work pretty well

mothers anything is fantastic. check craigslist or ebay though because you can get a set of brand new headlights for fairly cheap (~$30).. I went that route since my old ones were BEYOND saving
