EK engine swap help!!

Ok my friend has a busted tranny on his 99 accord ex and I convinced him to let me swap engines to my 99 cx. They're both auto's and it looks like it would fit. I'm not sure what type of engine is in a accord ex 4dr but I have a D16Y7.

Now the question is, is that swap possible? Is there any fabrications that I would have to do to make this happen? and yes I do plan on keeping the car an auto.

Oh, so there wouldn't be any complications if I grabbed a tranny from a junkyard for that engine? I mean it should be cheaper than buying that engine that my tranny's compatible for correct? As you can tell I'm a scrub on about this kind of stuff.

Re: EK engine swap help!!

You are going to need a mount kit, wiring harness, computer & trans to make it work in your car.
