hi, i just bought my first import.. 1996 Honda civic EX coupe. the valve cover doesn't say dohc vtec... what type of engine do i have? someone asked me if i had a b16? how would i identify what i have? i want to say its a 1.6? does that sound about right?
the guy i bought it from had it stolen and they took the throttle body, distributor, air intake, radiator, cluster and the whole a/c unit where the ac ***** and stereo deck goes. im trying to replace everything with stock. where would be the best place to start shopping... what size is the throttle body? XXmm? what is the part number to the distributor?
-anything would help thanks.. Rafael

Bear in mind that I have a different gen but, it should be stamped into the block somewhere in the same area. Stand at the front of the car and look in this area:
