Hard window streak (pic included)

After searching around through Google, I found no help.

So hopefully someone here has an idea.

I have had this window streak since i got the car. Tint was installed about a month or two after I purchased the car, so I don't think it was present before the tint.

Lately I have noticed it has been getting a lot bigger, up to about 2 in thick. It feels like dried mud, or sticker residue.

~Thanks in advance

edit: Its a 1999 LX. And its the rear left window only. The driver side can be very slow, but never had streak problem

goto napa auto parts and get 'no touch auto glass stripper' in a small bottle. follow the directions, be careful. its a professional product. if that doesnt take it out, then the stain is etched in the glass and will need to be polished out with a glass resurfacing kit.

Awesome, I will have to give that a shot. Will that keep it from coming back?

I have read that silicon spray would help, however I believe they had a different problem.

Thank a lot gearbox.

silicone spray usually only lubricates, it does not remove adhesives or whatever that is. what i really like to use on glass after its been properly cleaned is adams car care brilliant spray glaze. it forms a super slippery surface that makes the windows roll down easier and also gives a nice shine. not to mention beads water off like rain-x, but without messing up the wiper blades.
