well filler doesnt hold up over time. the proper way is to weld the holes with metal and then sand/prime/paint. usually its cheaper to just get a new trunk lid. or trade with someone else who wants a spoiler.

ya i did the same thing with sidemarkers and decided i dont like em later but its too late already lol. for a temp fix you can fill the holes with clear silicone. or even better, find some plastic hole plugs from the hardware store and seal them from inside with the silicone. then use touchup paint on the top of the cap. or even a red sticker you cut using a hole punch.

hummm alright i'll look into that...but i was also thinking cause i painted my side panels before i came across some kinda rust/filler that hardens then you prime ontop of it...have you heard of anything like that? sidemarkers look nice tho really clean i think..i was thinking of doing it too haha

like how gearbox said, just put some nylon or plastic plugs and just get some touch up paint and paint it. thats how my car is at the moment, looks fine.
