Would the K24's weight trough off the handling dynamics

Has anyone here done a k24 swap and if so how was the handling after? Do any thing to compensate? I am told there is a few hundred pounds difference from the OEM one and that should really take away some of the handling, just wondering what to expect.

Cheers

a few have done it, i dont think the extra weight will be an issue with all the power you have.

I am sure it would be drivable but just curious if anyone has played with higher spring rates in the front?

The power will be there but I get my kicks from carving an apex and would hate if the handling properties went to shiz

Re: Would the K24's weight trough off the handling dynamics

Well, the handling dynamics will definitely change. FR weight ratio will definitely show it and even higher spring rates in front will not change physics. I'd stick with something lighter like a b18c.

I'm a corner carver myself and I just couldn't put more weight up front. If you can tell the difference in your car's handling with a passenger, the difference will be magnified with the weight much farther forward rather than next to you.
