All cylinder misfires (crankshaft position sensor)

Car recently started running with a bad miss. Check engine light came on. Checked the codes and flagged the crankshaft position sensor with all cylinder misfires.
1) Replaced the crankshaft position sensor - Checked that the sensor was receiving power and ground - Also, the sensor is putting out 5 volts - Sensor checks good.
Engine still hard to start and runs like it has a miss.
2) Checked the coil packs to make sure it is firing on all cylinders by disconnecting them one at a time.
Found #3 cylinder coil pack not firing - Replaced with no change.
3) Replaced all spark plugs with NGK Platinums
Engine runs a little smoother but still not quite right.
4) Take the car for a drive - Car runs pretty good but everytime the engine tach gets to 3400 rpms the engine cuts out reacts like it is on a rev limiter. This happens in 1st and 2nd gear every single time.
Bring car back home and engine idles very rough now that has warmed up.
5) Worthy to note that I replaced the camshaft position sensor during this workscope as well, and also reset the ECU by pulling the ECU 15 amp fuse and reinstalling.
Also checked that the fuel injectors are pulsing by sticking a screwdriver on them and placing the other end to my temple and hearing them pulse. No abnormalities to note.
I am struggling to determine what the cause of problems are and looking some guidance/advice/direction. Thanks

Agree. Check mechanical timing: cam and crank. A compression check may be helpful as well.

How many miles ago were the valve's adjusted?

So, had the head gasket replaced about 25K miles ago, and a valve adjustment was done during that process. the timing belt and water pump was also changed. When pulling the timing cover to replace the crank position sensor, I verified the timing is correct.

Re: All cylinder misfires (crankshaft position sensor)

I am thinking the next course of action is to do a compression check. I still am struggling with the code for "all cylinders misfire" I wouldnt think that code would continue to come up even if the head gasket was compromised. I agree that I would experience a rough running engine, but it wouldnt trigger a check engine light and that specific code, would it?

I guess I am still leaning to find a problem electrically.

Did you try an ECU (idle learn) reset yet to clear the codes?
