Driving Lights switch to LED

Hello people,

recently I switched my halogen day driving light to LED.

the passenger side lights worked, however the driver side did not.

i searches out possible issues online but I can’t seem to figure it out.
the LED light I am using in the driver side works, I tried the passenger side, so ruled out the defective bulb, I also checked the fuses, DRL relay and the DRL modul, nothing seems to be wrong. I put back the original bulbs and still not working. All the lights were operational prior to the switch, I attempted to buy a wire harness for the driver side, attached, but have not installed it yet. Has anyone experienced this issue and if you have any suggestions ?

Re: Driving Lights switch to LED

If you didn’t use a current limiting resistor with your LED bulbs you might have fried your DLR module.

Re: Driving Lights switch to LED

Thanks for the response .. I actually did some research on that very point.. all it said if that was the case to simply re-solder the back .. which I did.. still no go.. also on that point if it was fried would it not impact both driving lights?
