Manually change air mix

Hi, I'm wondering if there is a way to manually move the vents to deactivate the windshield deffog.

when i turn on my ac you can see condensation on the lowest part of the front windshield. The mixer/blend motor is broken so the buttons to recirculate and the selector to face, foot, etc its not working.

so i want to manually adjust the vents so just throw air for the top vents (face position) and not to the windshield.

Re: Manually change air mix

Blend door actuator is an easy fix. However, if you want to do it manually try removing the connection rod from actuator arm, set to defrost vent and see if the vent door will stay in place. Possibly, tape it in place?

Re: Manually change air mix

1000% easier to just put a piece of cardboard/carpet down over the vent on the dash and remove when you actually need a little defogging...

Re: Manually change air mix

The mixer/blend motor is broken
Why not just fix it the correct way?
