Motor swap

Was up fellas . I swap my D17a2 with a d17a everything is working good now after a few minor issues. But now when I hit 4000 rpms car boggs like it's red lining . I swap the VTEC solenoid thinking it was that but it still does it . Some say it can be the ECU. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Re: Motor swap

P1259 is causing the low rev limit. Fix the VTEC problem.
Does your valve have the pressure switch on it? Does it work? Does the wiring do what it needs to?

Did someone get the vtec solenoid wire mixed up with the oil pressure sender wire on the back of the engine?

and the VTEC is activated by engine oil pressure - if low, it will trigger the code
