I recently acquired a gauge cluster from an 04/05 coupe lx. Im trying to install it into a 05 sedan dx because theres no tach.
I got the cluster out on the 05 and the connectors are the same for both clusters( 1 blue 1 green). The issue im having is when I plug in the 04 cluster, reconnect the battery, and turn the key over NOTHING HAPPENS!!!
I switch the headlights on and off hit the blinkers press the trip meter and still nothing. I thought it should be plug and play, but its not working. Do I have to rewire or could it be a bad cluster since its used?? Also are there any fuses or relays or components that the DX doesnt have to support the swap?
Any help would be much appreciated Ive been reading all types of stuff but still cant figure this out...

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one
Re: Cluster Swap
Pretty sure it won't work as is, because the LX connectors have several wires that are not present in the DX.
