05 Civic Coupe VP without side srs Cluster Compatibility

So, I'm not a car person yet. I just got my first car and it's an 05 Civic Coupe VP without side srs. By temp guage is screwed and I'm looking for a new cluster. But don't feel like paying $400. Does anyone have diagrams and information about which clusters I can put in it? I heard I can put 01-03 lx clusters in it but I only saw it on one forum and another video contradicted that statement. So I'm totally lost on what to do.

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Re: 05 Civic Coupe VP without side srs Cluster Compatibility

Search this forum for cluster swap or gauge swap or something similar.

There was a change to wiring in the middle of the generation so yes, only the later years can be used on your 05 car unless you want to get into re-pinning the harness connectors
without side srs
AFAIK you will need to use a cluster from a car that had the same SRS equipment as yours has now.
