2004 civic engine swap

I just bought a project car. 2004 civic coup. It has a 1.7 liter but I was toying with upgrading the engine. Any ideas what is a direct bolt in. Will any 2.0 liters fit? Will the wiring harnesses or anything else need to be changed? New at this, use to building chevys.

Re: 2004 civic engine swap

Nothing is gonna be a direct bolt in except another d17. The k20, however, will fit with special motor mounts and a few borrowed parts from an rsx. Lots of information about the k20 swap. Just search around
