I have a question about painting left/right axles
I bought new driver and passenger side axles. I noticed that they aren't painted. My original oem axles are rusted to hell and they look awful. Should I just paint these new axles before replacing the old ones? I have high temperature black paint. I'm thinking about just using that.
Is this something people do? Can I potentially mess these axles up? Just looking for some opinions.

I'm going to go for it. I'll find out years from now if it pays off. I'll degrease the metal parts I'm going to paint and mask off the boots.
