Where is cabin filer for 2001 Honda Civic Ex and which one to buy?

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

That car uses a pair of rectangular filters. Available at just about any parts store.
Behind the glovebox.
Pop out the stops on the sides of the glovebox and flop it wide open to the floor.
The trap door for the cabin filters is behind it.
Remove door. Remove first filter tray. Slide second filter tray over to the opening and remove it too.
Remove filter elements from their trays and replace. Reinstall, reassemble. 5 minute job once you've done it once.

I bought mine off amazon this past October or so for like $10. I don't recall the brand but they are still holding up! I don't think they've ever been replaced (car was a gift)
