Rep Power: 0 7th Gen Canadian Civic DX and LX gear ratios?
Is there any difference in DX - LX manual transmissions? I went through some forums, some people say that they are different, others say aren't .
Any info appreciated.
Thank you.

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

I believe the gear ratio difference will be between the trans that fits a D17A1 (non-VTEC) engine vs D17A2 (VTEC) engine.
DX/LX both use the same D17A1 engine AFAIK, so trans should be the same.
If you want to take some time you can research part numbers in a Canadian Honda parts catalog (google torontohondaparts)
